POSTS IN ENGLISH

The blog has a google translate button on the right side (near the "search" box) but we know Google translation is not always perfect :) For that reason I'm working on translating posts to english, to make it easier for everyone! The ones translated you can find by clicking on the link below, with the tag "english post" or "posts in english"  :)

About me:

Hi!
Nice to meet you! My name is Martha Sachser, I’m 27 years old,  a photographer (my official photography website is www.marthasachserphotography.com ),  a blogger and a journalist here in NY.
I was born and raised in Belo Horizonte, Brazil  and in 2007 I left everything behind to live in the States, a dream I’ve had since I was little. My first stop was in the DC area and in 2010 I finally moved to NY for good.
I grew up watching american films and TV series and shows like F.RI.E.N.D.S, Sex And The City, E! News. I dreamed that one day I would walk around those streets with cute buildings and yellow cabs and that I would be able to have bagel and cream cheese every morning for breakfast.
One day I decided to stop watching and I moved here. I know that a lot of people would like to do the same, so the blog aims to tell a bit about the american life, places, trips and everyday facts of one the most visited cities in the planet.
I’m always busy, but I try to update the blog daily! That’s why I’m very happy when I see nice coments, I feel that the effort was worth it! I love everything related to music, pop culture, Hollywood, movies, series, musicals, books, magazines and traveling and I share a little bit of everything here with you.
How did everything start?

" NY & ABOUT"  came from a talk I had with one of my best friends (and the responsible for this amazing blog template that I LOVE),  Natalia.  We both love NY and since keeping a blog about my life would not be very interesting, we came up with the idea of creating something about the city life, restaurants, events, experiences, transportation and others.
I find it very useful when looking for information online  I find personal  and real opinions about something or somewhere, don’t you think? Since my college degree is always demanding composition of articles,  the combination is perfect, because I simply love what I do! Feel free to leave a comment, a suggestion or a simple HI! Whenever I get an email with a new coment my heart smiles and I do my happy dance!! Thank you very much for reading :)
