One of my favorite places in New York to unplug from the craziness is the Boat Basin Cafe. The idea was to take Bruna to see the sunset at Battery Park but between the shopping and non-stop chatting I figured it would be too late for that. Luckyly enough her hotel was really close to this bar/restaurant that I love! Even though the food isn't thaaaat amazing for my taste I still recommend to everyone! The view is gorgeous and it's that kind of place where you can find locals enjoying this hidden spot in the city, right next to the Hudson river! To get there you can take the 1 Train and get off on 79th Street, go west towards the river and you will find the entrance on the right. At least that's how I get there! In the summer the place is always busy, specially after a long day of work for many new yorkers! Don't forget to walk by the water and enjoy the nice weather before winter comes <3
Um dos meus lugares favoritos em Nova York para desconectar de tudo é o Boat Basin Cafe! A idéia era levar a Bruna para assistir ao pôr-do-sol no Battery Park mas entre indas e vindas em lojas não daria mais tempo e me lembrei que perto do hotel dela ficava este bar/restaurante que eu adoro! Já fui lá umas 3 vezes (clique AQUI) e apesar da comida não ser nada fora do normal de gostoso ainda indico sempre porque a vista é incrível e o ambiente muito gostoso, você nem sente que está em Nova York!! O bar fica meio escondido, bem na beira do rio Hudson, e o subway (metro) que vai mais perto é o 1 (79th Street). Quando descer da estação, pegue a rua 79 e siga ela direto sentido West (oeste), quando achar que vai terminar chegando no rio, é la mesmo que você desce, por uma entrada suspeita a direita! No verão o lugar bomba, fica cheio de gente local, principalmente nos finais de semana ou para um happy hour depois de um dia de trabalho! Acho que as fotos falam por si só, né? Ah!
